Edith Piaf biopic starring Marion Cottiard and Gerard De-pas-de-deux. The main example of emotional collage. Does not mention World War II. Watching it is like being in a French theme pub with a hangover.

For a while, the bit when an established voice takes over from the actor performing it was known as the Edith Piaf moment as a result of La Vie En Rose, but it has now become the Ronan Keating Moment.
