That film is the "Christmas cracker" that gets released every year. It is the obligatory star-studded, seasonal romp in which a string of A-list actors take part in a series of disparate threads that finally get drawn together in a heartwarming finale.
One theory behind the production of each particular instance of the "That film" genre every year is that the studios cynically do it to make money. Surely this cannot be true.
When watching a "That film", please bear in mind that it was made over the summer. All the snow is fake, no-one was full of Christmas cheer, and the enormous roast turkey, that a will appear on a table groaning with food, died in vain.
