Other films that have suffered from the Closer problem have included Margot At The Wedding, We Don't Live Here Anymore, The Last Kiss and The Family Stone. When Mark Lawson says Mark often emerges from films and says that everyone in them needs to be slapped, it is this sort of thing that he means.
The presence of James Blunt on the soundtrack to Closer did not help matters.
